A high-quality powder coating starts with thorough surface pretreatment. This essential first step ensures optimum adhesion and durability of the finished coating. Depending on your products and materials, you can choose sandblasting or wet chemical pretreatment. Indufinish offers a wide range of solutions, from plastic and stainless-steel tanks to advanced spray tunnels and multi-chamber cleaning systems. We integrate energy-efficient technology, such as variable-speed pumps in our spray systems, to optimise energy use and prevent waste. We also work closely with chemical suppliers to stay at the forefront of process innovation.

After pretreatment, the products are dried in a dedicated oven. This prepares the surface for an even powder application and prevents moisture from affecting the final result.

Once the products are dry, an even layer of powder is applied in a dedicated spray booth. We have been a market leader in designing and manufacturing powder coating booths for many years. Our high-quality plastic sandwich panels and meticulous finish allow extremely short cleaning times, improving production efficiency. Our booths come in various designs, with colour changes in as little as 4 minutes. We can integrate all the necessary equipment, including automatic reciprocators and powder dosing units. The final step is curing. The coated products enter a curing oven, where the powder is heated to form a hard, wear-resistant protective coating. Indufinish designs advanced drying and curing ovens with a broad temperature range from 35 °C to 220 °C. Every configuration is carefully analysed, from air circulation and infrared technology to dark-radiation ovens, to recover heat wherever possible. Our active air curtains and automatic doors minimise heat loss and keep energy consumption low.
